You may not, without written permission from Merit Data:

• Use sample materials to train, fine-tune, evaluate or benchmark AI, robotics, machine-learning or computer-vision models.

• Share controlled samples outside the approved review group.
• Represent samples as your own data or as data licensed to you for production use.

Use the website responsibly.

You agree not to:

• Use the website for unlawful, misleading, fraudulent or harmful purposes.

Separate project terms may include:

• Statement of work, quote, order form or purchase order.
• NDA, MSA, data license, contributor release or supplier agreement.
• Accepted data definition, rejection rules and QC process.
• Permitted use, training rights, evaluation rights and redistribution restrictions.
• Delivery format, storage method, retention, deletion and support obligations.

If there is a conflict between these website Terms and a signed project agreement, the signed project agreement will control for that project.

Do not submit confidential information unless a secure process is agreed.

Website forms, WhatsApp links and regular email may not be appropriate for highly confidential, sensitive, regulated or proprietary information.

If a project requires confidential information, customer data, robot logs, proprietary model details, private datasets, sensitive locations or regulated data, the parties should agree to an NDA and secure transfer workflow before sharing those materials.

Project data privacy, contributor consent, PII handling and dataset access controls should be addressed in the applicable project agreement where relevant.
